I’ve had so many "divine appointments" while serving at Kaiser that they feel almost routine, but each encounter is still incredibly meaningful.
During one of my recent visits, I became disoriented in the hallways. Upon emerging, I found several members of my church who were seeking medical attention. I paused to pray with them, and this act of support garnered attention from others in the reception area. I then had the opportunity to distribute two Bibles during this interaction.
Subsequently, I became disoriented again. Upon opening another door, I found members of the Gideons who were also in need of medical assistance. While I was ministering support to them, a nurse recognized me and inquired if I was available to assist further. Remarkably, all of these events transpired within a single hour of my service at Kaiser, and I had already completed rounds on the second floor. Each of these experiences underscores the significance of compassion in healthcare during a person's challenging times.
